Commercial Description:
The last in our 2007 Deadly Sin Beer series evokes deadly desire in men (and, OK, women too) with its dark Belgian character. It was aged for ONE year in bourbon oak barrels and infused with sour cherries & brettanomyces.

Bottle… Pre-C&P’sLYFO ThrowdownThis beer rocks!… Pours murky and very dark with a mid-sized, creamy, beige head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is a hearty swirl of bourbon, chocolate and espresso. Medium to full-bodied and ultra creamy with tingly carbonation. The flavor presents dark, semi-sweet chocolate, wood and very warm bourbon. Lengthy, chocolaty, boozy finish. Thanks to Beerlando for sharing this world class beer with the guys at redlight redlight!

Bottle thanks to timmcd64, sampled on 2/1/08: Pours a transparent dark mahogany with ruby hues and a wispy-lacing dark tan head. Aroma of dry woodsy earthy vanilla with some black cherries and faint funk and corn starch. Starts fairly full and earthy dark caramely sweet with some nice oaky bourbon complexity and black cherry balance. The brett hasn’t made its presence too well known yet, but should only increase the comlexity of this brew in the future.

Poured a dark brown color with a small beige head. Tart fruity cherry aroma. Some vanilla, chocolate and brown sugar. The flavor had nice complexity as well. Sweet and and tart at the same time. Chocolate, cherry, caramel, bourbon and vanilla. Very warming. Great stuff.
