Commercial Description:
Pride is the excessive belief in one’s own abilities and achievements. PRIDE Belgian-style Strong Pale Ale is the smart, sexy, strong ’golden child’ of the series. Aged in chardonnay oak barrels and infused with Brettanomyces, Pride has much, much, too much to boast about. PRIDE...It really isn’t you...it’s ME.

This bottled brew from JSquire at a rating party poured a extremely large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent strongly carbonated light orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was astringent and malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of malt astringent and soft floral hops . A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again.

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting from unofficial Midnight Sun ambassador Jsquire - Pours hazy yellow-orange with suspended yeast flakes and a big, bubbly head. It has a malty, fruity, brett rich aroma. It has a fairly light, fruity flavor with mild hops and some brett apparent. The body is a little thin. There’s mild bitterness in the dry finish.

22oz bottle from Todd. Thanks again... Pours a semi-opaque medium orange brown with a medium frothy white head... Some farmhouse and dirty Brett notes with tropical fruit and tangerine scents... Flavors are mainly sweet tropical fruit with drier Brett notes in the finish. Semi-earthiness comes through eventually. Little wine barrel nite bit good degree of Brett. Nice mouthfeel.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream colored head. Tart, lemon, green apple aroma with light yeastiness. Tart, lemon, yeast, and light spice flavor. Medium bodied. Yeast, spice, green apple lingers with light malt and a light tartness.
