Opaque black, thin but stable tan head and slight lace. Stunning aroma of roasted chocolate malt, slight vanilla, excellent milky coffee and a black hole of darkness. Flavour is also excellent but not quite so good. Plenty roasty and toasty, superb car tyre malt, lovely alcohol, slight yeast, glorious rich dark chocolate giving a wonderful bitter finish that seems to be all about the coffee and chocolate and nothing to do with any hops. This is full on darkness and it is done properly. Sting of hot alcohol in the finish lets it down a little but I really don’t care, I’m really enjoying this. Except for the burn the palate is excellent. Bloody good all rounder. Jan & Charlotte, you kick ass! fiulijn (7360), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Nice aroma of caramel, roasted malt, alcohol. Very strong body, the alcohol perception and high carbonation help keeping the mouthfeel not too fat; it has a very good mix of caramel and roasted malt flavor, a bit woody, sweet enough; in the end the alcohol is just a bit too strong. Very good. stouby (1950), Holbaek, Denmark
