Black with a fine brown head. Sweet aroma of candy sugar, dried fruits, coffee and alchol. The flavours are way too sweet with some roasted malts that cannot however keep the cloying sirup-like feeling down. The palette is nice though, soft and creamy.

Jul 13, 2008 Tap at Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours a nice black with a big brownish head. Great aroma of roasted malt, oak and chocolate. Flavour is wonderful with chocolate, vanilla and some viniousness with a nice round and soft mouthfeel.

Jul 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours a black color with a longlasting tan head. Sweetish roasted malty chocolate and licorice aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and licorice flavor with some hints of coffee and some hoppy hints aswell. Sweet roasted malty chocolate and licorice finish.

Almost black coloured, small beige head, chocolate licorice nose. The taste is also similar, strong licorice, milk chocolate and coffee with light chicory notes. Very drinkable for 9.5%.
