Somewhat clear sparkling body with a pale amber color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of citrus, fruit, floral, pine, grapefruit. Over the palate came caramel, toasted malt, faint liquorish feel. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated bitter flavor with good sweetness to balance this brew. Dry and bitter fruity finish that lasted somewhat. gunnfryd (3641), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 10, 2008 Bottle. (On two occasions). Pours a nice clear, golden body with an off-white head. Piney and citrusy on the nose, with malt and caramel and some beef-stock a little bit in the background. Nice hoppy flavor with citrus and pine, as well as malty flavors. Not as bitter as wished for, but sure bitter. Quite full body, slightly warming and almost astringent from the hops. Long piney finish. A nice beer from a brewer that used to be almost crappy.
