Blom (408), Odense, Denmark Apr 26, 2008 Amber with a decent head. Good citric aroma with further notes of peach, pine and caramel. The flavour is dominated by s strong sweet maltbase that gives a perfect contrast to the citric hops. Typical American, but in my book, that’s great!
Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Sep 25, 2008 Had this at The European Beer Festival, Kobenhaven, 12-09-08. Punchy citrussy beer, real good and quit zappy. This drinks far too easily for the abv. Some orange and tangerine flavour’s. Strangely the aroma was nothing like I expected and if anything was a little cheesy? FatPhil (2362), Espoo, Finland Sep 1, 2008 Keg (One Pint, Helsinki)
Murky orange brown, small head. Crisp hoppy aroma. Slightly sour on the tongue - this was end of keg, I probably got the dregs. Gee, thanks barman (not Markku or Marian, I don’t know this one). Tingly carbonation. Rich malty taste, pleasant hops. A little soapy and a little vegetal, but still quite pleasant. Gingery and soapy hoppy finish. Quite solid. Would like a fresher one some time. trapez (226), Hilleroed, Denmark Aug 12, 2008 Bottle. Characteristichops aroma. Two different hops are used, but the Cascade is dominating the aroma. Unclear light brown/amber colour with small head. Pleasanr bittersweet taste sincethere is also plenty of malt in the brew. Softcarbonation. Definitely one of the best Danish IPAs. charlotte (1287), Vanløse, Denmark Aug 8, 2008 Hazy dark orange colour with medium white head.Aroma of strong malt and caramel.Flavor is hoppy fresh and light bitter.Well balanced with heavy mouth feels. Mogwai (189), Askeby, Denmark Jul 9, 2008 Bottle. Unclear amber colour with white head. Aroma of hops, malt, caramel, but also flowers. Flavor of hops, caramel. Very good.
