A Mes rate: Cask at the Wenlock.
Dark amber with a thin white head. Nicely balanced malt and hops aroma with a little coffee. Flavour is more of the same. The finish is a little harsh but settles on some really pleasant fruit and coffee notes.

Cask, Far From The Madding Crowd, Oxford. Dark gold, off-white head. Warm grapefruit aroma, coppery marmalade with a pinch of cinnamon spice. Perfectly poised citrusy bitterness and light caramel sweetness. Definitely a sweet beer, but not the slightest bit sticky. A sparkling liveliness to this beer, every drop full of flavor. Deep, rich, hoppy-satisfaction.

Cask Handpump at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford 20-12-07 Chestnut in colour, fierce fruity bite to this beer, malts are present but pushed aside by the crisp bitter fruity bite, lovely!

Cask conditioned - handpump - Alex Derby. A dark chestnut coloured beer with a beige head. The aroma is fruity and malty with raisins and a little Christmas cake. The taste is more of the same and it’s quite decent if a little understated.
