Commercial Description:
All Others Pale - as in ’All Others Pale By Comparison’ - is our cheeky take on an American tradition, but naturally with a Danish touch. It is a well-balanced, light-bodied thirst quencher, perfect after a hard day’s work or on hot summer days...but loads of fresh green hops and a subtle malty background make this pale ale the refreshing choice all year round!
Ingredients : Water, malt (maris ottar pale, munich, carapils and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (simcoe, centennial, amarillo and nugget) and ale yeast.

Catch up rate. Bottle at the St. Albans beer fesrival.. Dark amber with an off white head. Aromas are sweet pine with spices. Grapefruit with peppery notes and evident alcohol. Quite soft. Flavours are woody and dry with spices. Bitter pine and grapefruit with a very dry finish.

Bottle. poured a cloudy dark amber. nice sweet hop nose with similar flavor. I really liked the delicious malt base which balanced this nicely. Slight bitter finish.

Bottled. Courtesy of BeerMerchants - cheers Phil. A copper coloured beer with a white head and lacing. The aroma and taste have excellent piney hops throughout. Also has nice balancing malts to provide a lovely body and depth of flavour. A perfectly sound tasty well brewed APA.Score 3.8

Pours a reddish orange color with a thick off white head and moderate to light lacing. Aroma is not as hoppy as I expected -some light pine hops, but more on the malty side with hints of dough. Very nice taste - some light spices with sweet malt, balanced with citrus hops. Very well balanced beer, and excellent overall.

16.9oz bottle. Thick orange brown color, definitely unfiltered. Good lasting head. Medium citrus aroma, pleasantly fresh and sweet. Well balanced beer, with a toasty malt profile coupled with a solid hop bill. Earthy, lightly fruity, and a tad bitter. This is an excellent, top notch APA, worth trying despite the high price.

Pours orange copper color; thick sticky head eventually settles down, leaving some nice lacing. Aromatic, grapefruit, lots of hops. Tastes great, lots of hops without being too bitter, solid pale malt base, drinks very easily. Also something of a flowery flavor in this too. The best APA that I have tried so far actually. Expensive bottle, but worth it in this case.

50cl bottle from Barley Wine. It poured an orange colour with a big off-white head that settled down slowly in the glass. The aroma is sweet with notes of butter biscuits, hops, grapefruit and hints of malt. The flavour is slightly bitter and tastes of hops, grapefruit with hints of pepper. It has a long, lingering aftertaste.

20081219 50cl bottle from Spirits RB. Lightly hazed deep amber with thick, lacing, lasting, creamy, off- white head. Aroma of lemon curd, buttermilk biscuits, graham cracker, minty nonpareils. Body is creamy but becoming unctuous, saved by even, fine eff on finish. Nice pithy bitterness, grapefruit -- but with a side of buttered white toast with honey. wtf. I dunno if this is old, weird, or if I am hallucinating, but I do not get any of what I expected out of this beer. I certainly do not find many of the colorful and delightful adjectives that previous raters have noted. It is reminding me too much of what Dales Pale Ale has become, and that is not great. At least the finishing bitterness is nice, so I can work through the rest of this very expensive bottle of pale ale.
