Bottle 25 cl. Slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. intense smoky aroma of burned plastic and phenols. Solid body, sweet caramel and massive smoked notes of burned plastic. Not much bitterness but a solid alcohol burn. 300809

(bottle, thanks Marsiblursi!) Pours a muddy amber with a bit of an off-white head. Aroma is strong and unique. As OSLO said there’s a big scent of smoked honey ham and I could smell the scent of rubber too, but the most prominent scent was that of Lapsang Souchang. Being a fan of that particular tea, I’ve gotta bump up the score a bit. The taste is also strong of smoked and glazed honey ham, with a nice interaction between the smoky and sweet flavors. Finish lingers with more smoke and a hint of oak. This was quite an interesting beer, and I liked it the more I drank it. Thanks again, Marsiblursi!

[Bottle, thanks Marsiblursi!] Pours hazy dark amber with a tiny off-white head. Aroma just explodes out of the glass. Smoked honey ham, rubber that is new from the factory, and some herbal notes. Smoked honey ham in the taste again, with a good amount of malt present as well. Good mouthfeel, very smooth, and has a decent finish that isn’t as smokey as I thought it would be. The aroma is the weak point of this, but overall this was a very unique beer. Thanks again, Marsiblursi!

Bottle. Thanks ChristianScheffel. Pours dark amber coloured with a nice lasting off white head. Aromas of smoked salami, vanilla and hops. Smooth and oily texture. Malty flavour with notes of honey, smoke and bitter hops.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber/brown color with a small off-white head. Has a malty smoky aroma with some hints of caramel and oak. Sweetish malty caramel flavor with some hints of smoke and some hints from the barrel. Has a sweetish malty smoky oaky finish.

Nip. Thanks, Thewolf and after4ever! Pours hazy dark copper with a lacy off-white head. Smoke covered caramel aroma. Medium body and light carbonation. Toffee, raisin and vanilla taste that melts into a smoky finish. Nice!

Flaske: Stor duft af røg, virkelig lækker. Brunlig barleywine udseende, med et lille skumhoved og næsten ingen karbonering. Smagen er meget kompleks og lagdelt. Først røgen, så en mere frugtet barleywinee og tilsidst fadlagringen. Interessant og speciel øl.
