Sep 17, 2008 Cask @ EBF 2008. Dark chocolate, malt and coffee in the aroma. Roast and dark chocolate in the flavor at first, followed by slightly burning chili, persevering and getting stronger in the aftertaste. Very flavorful, balance still OK.

Sep 17, 2008 Draught at EBF. Pitch black in colour with no head. Coffee, dark fruits, malty sweetness i aroma. Creamy body. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee and overripe fruits that ends up in a chili/chocolate finish that sticks to your tongue. Interesting version of the BGB.

Sep 17, 2008 At EBF 2008.this was one of they best beers on this festival.Black colour with no head aroma of rosted malt and dark chocolate,heavy aftertaste of chilli who sticks in your mouth for long.Hope this beer soon gonna be on bottle.

Black with minimal tan head. The aroma is deliciously roasted and coffeeish, well-hopped and complex.The flavor is coffeeish and chocolatey, well-hopped and firmly malty (roasted, sweet) with huge amounts of vibrant chili flavor and considerable, lingering heat which carries through well past the long, bitter finish. Immensely complex and flavorful. Smooth and full, modestly carbonated mouthfeel. A sublime, experimental beer - the pick of the litter at EBF 2008, IMHO.
