Commercial Description:
This is a crazy version of The Beer Geek Breakfast. It's brewed with yeast from De Dolle Brouwers which due to it's fermenting abilities gives a dryer, slight acidic and stronger beer than the original. Op uw gezondheid!!

Draught at Kobenhavnske Oldage, May 2006. Pitch black, with very alluring powerful coffee presence in the aroma. The coffee continues into the flavour but it is very sour and I felt the sourness clashed with, rather than complemented, the otherwise rich and luscious nature of the beer. I found the normal version to be a better balanced beer that appealed more to my palate.

Like the normal Beer Geek Breakfast but more dry and bitter with more coffee and roasted malt. Very tasty!

[Another century celebrated with a Mikkeller beer - this time 7300] A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted coffee, while the flavor is sweet with strong notes of coffee, roasted, malt, and a lovely yeast note. The mouthfeel is very rounded.

Black with a lasting light brown head. Extremely roast stout aroma and flavour like the original but with an exciting twist of tartness, not unlike biting in a fresh piece of oak wood. Since I also first tried De Dolle’s export stout, the "tart imperial stout" is my Revelation of the Year 2006.

Draught. Black with brown head. Wood, licorice, a little smoke and yeast in aroma - much more yeast than the regular version. Sweet flavour with licorice and yeast with a light bitterness. It seems lighter than the good stuff - like someone mixing your drugs with "fake" ingredients. Don’t mess with my addiction, dudes! I’ll toast ya over an open bonfire on Guy Fawkes (if we had that here). Still, I like this version, so I’ll let you off and pour gasoline over you first, you crazy experimenting (experiMENTAL) geeks!

Draught at Copenhagen Beerfestival 2006
Black color; brown head, thick. Strange: take the coffee notes, creamy (cappuccino), the malt, and add some light sourness. Good, but not exceptional. But the final, creamy cappuccino of Italian quality, is incredible!

On tap @ Ølfestivallen 2006. Black colour with a brown head. Roasted, coffee, chocolate, hoppy aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry finish.

Draught. Sweet liquorice aroma. Black colour, very small brown head. Peppery flavour, OK balanced with some citric hoppiness. A bit sour which is also good for the balance.
