| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Black body with a fast disappearing head leaving some laces; Very cold coffee like with all the qualities of an African coffee: fruity fresh acidy red berries, lightly roasted fresh nuts, well hidden leather, together with acidy wine notes; Huge explosive carbonation in a quite bitter body that actually is a bit watery; Into a quite bitter a bit acidy finish, with very bitter chocolate, the dry aroma of cocoa bean and very, very strong cold African coffee. I think this version of the Beer Geek has a huge potential, the next batch, which I really hope will come, will for sure be perfect. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

Much like the "normal" Beer Geek Breakfast, but with a twist. A bit acidic, grape... a sour version. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 31, 2006 Draught. Black body with a large, rocky mocha head. Coffee is again dominant in the aroma - yeasty, chalky dry, creamy, and cheesey notes too. This is quite different - it tastes bigger and there is chalkiness, grape, and still plenty of coffee. Almost nearing tartness at times. Not as smooth and balanced as the Draft version. Nice experiment.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 29, 2006 Very intens dark brown to black stout color with stabile beige-brownish froth. Very intens mocca aroma’s with touches of burned rubber and lime zest. Also some hints of bitter chocolate powder, expresso, residu of burned oak in an open fire and some to hard baked fruit cake. The beer has a dry to medium dry caracter. It has hints of a good quality soft mocca with a dry fruitisch touch. It is complex dry-bitter with fine peppery freshness of the yeast. The yeasty caracter works wonderwell with the perfectly hiddien slight sourish touch. There are also untherlaying hints of Dutch Drop and violet flowers. Indeed very original for the style. Good Job Guy’s.
