[on cask at EBF 2008] Gentle oaky aroma with some vanilla and a touch of dry sherry and cinnamon. Surprisingly, no poo in the nose. Very black and with no head. Sharp, dry black malt flavour with some nutmeg and other Christmassy spices. Bitter coffee--too thin and dry for my taste. A bit astringent very low carbonation, medium to light body.

Tap at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. The color is black. Lovely brown head. Aroma is a fantastic balance of exclusive coffee and roasted malt. The flavor is coffee all the way. Also lots of bitterness and maybe dark, dried fruits. It´s just amazing. Not extreme, just lovely.

[Sampled with the trio: Svoger, Svogergylp and Foged at EBF, 2008.] #1200. A good century with this magnificent brew with coffee from my lovely Vietnam. Deep black and little brown head. Aroma of coffee, coffee and coffee in a very great way like ex. the Beer Geek Breakfast. Some chocolate and licorice, but indeed coffee is the dominant aroflavor at all. I’ll give almost anything to have this on bottle one day. Perfect brew in worldclass!

Had this at EBF Kobenhaven 12-09-08. Pours thick and oily, hoppy smooth, really bitter stout. The coffee is stunning, really clings to the mouth, black in colour and brown at edges with a beige head.

Draught at EBF. Black, small coarse head. Strong sweet espresso liqueur and liquorice in the aroma. Flavor is Lordi salmiakki, salty liquorice, espresso; quite sweet. Medium to full bodied, low carbonation. Like salmiak syrup.

Cask at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. An ultra smooth and refined version of BGB. Pure black in colour with great malt and coffee flavours, plus the perfect level of bitterness. Sublime!
