Draught at EBF 2008. Black with almost no head. Very much like the ordinary Beer Geek, but more aromatic with chocolate and ink notes.

Cask@EBF, Copenhagen Apperance: Very black and no head whatsoever. Aroma: Hops, Chocolate, Molasses, Coffee. Flavor: Chocolate, Espresso, Dark carmel, Ash. M: Very smooth with a very dry finish and a nice bitterness to go with it. This is definitely better than the normal beergeek-breakfast which i find hyped and overrated. This is a solid beer and i look forward to trying it again!

Served on cask tap at the beerfestival in Copenhagen 2008, Mikkeller is serving this interesting beer again this year..thx. This one is served (as the name says) without carbonation...and ofcause you can tell that from the very dark appearence with almost no head.. reminds me of tar. The nose is with dry fruits souch as raisins and dried plums. Its a bitteraweet symphony but a bitterness from the nice hops.. not from the coffee. It has a very nice smooth feeling to it and the finish is long and dry dry dry.

(Cask) Very dark brown with almost no head. Mild aroma of roasted coffee and faint licorice hints. Silky-smoothly malty flavor with roasted malt and coffee, but very reasonable color maltiness (some ashiness in the finish). Palate... Did I say silky already? Medium to full body, almost no carbonation. Not perfect, but pleasantly silky.
