Comments: Extremely coffee laden stout that manages to be balanced, dry and fair bodied at the same time, but that I can’t quite enjoy on the sole base of its coffee goodness. Good focus on a flavour that is not all that appealing to me.

Spicy and earthy aroma - cinnamon, coffee and chocolate. Quite black in colour, foamy brown head. Coffee flavorbase, herbs - nice balance to the coffee bitterness. Mellow mouthfeel. Coffee-roast aftertaste.

Tasted 2007-05-12. Black! Coffee, chocolate, acid, hops. It reminds me of De Dolle Extra Export Stout. Love it!

Cask Conditioned at Københavnske Øldage 2007
Black oily color, no head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, red wine, coffee, a hint of tobacco. Thick and oily, no carbonation, strong flavor of caramel, roasted malt, coffee, some liquorice, a bit metalic herbal and milky. Very strong ending bitterness, from the coffee and roasted malt. Weird, but an interesting experience. Good.

draught at kbh beerdays 07, black beer with no foam or carbonic. My nose almost exploted when the lovely mokka smell flew up the nose, amazing! The taste is very round and complex, and creates a warm feeling while it floates round the mouth! Amazing beer !!

Black with no head. Huge aroma of coffee, hops, and black malts. Bitter and roasted with a charcoal-like dryness. Long lasting aftertaste. 2008: seemed thinner and weaker in aroma.
