Comments: Extremely coffee laden stout that manages to be balanced, dry and fair bodied at the same time, but that I can’t quite enjoy on the sole base of its coffee goodness. Good focus on a flavour that is not all that appealing to me.

Quite black in colour, foamy brown head. Coffee flavorbase, herbs - nice balance to the coffee bitterness. Mellow mouthfeel. Coffee-roast aftertaste. Enjoyit (1745), Vadum, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Cask Conditioned at Københavnske Øldage 2007 Black oily color, no head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, red wine, coffee, a hint of tobacco. Thick and oily, no carbonation, strong flavor of caramel, roasted malt, coffee, some liquorice, a bit metalic herbal and milky. Very strong ending bitterness, from the coffee and roasted malt. Weird, but an interesting experience. Good. Katboi (16), Denmark
