Tap, Olfestival. Dark color, short to no head, just some lacing. Brilliant aroma of roasted malt, coffee, licorice, black chocolat, but especially the delicious vietnamese coffee is dominant. It almost smells like fresh made coffee. Full taste of burned coffee and chocolat malt, very very good. Creamy body, bit sticky palate. Fantastic stuff.

Københavnske Øldage 07. Draught. To tell the truth, this is one shitty beer - but only if you think of the weasels that ate the coffee beans before they were used....The color is pitch black, and the head is huge, nice and creamy. The aroma has wonderful notes of nice and bitter coffee and roasted malt. The mouthfeel is oily and the flavour is amazing! It has notes of nice, bitter coffee, chocolate, a light sweetness, a touch of salt and the balance is perfect. The finish is extremely long - well, Mikkeller rules - as always..... 2111

Coffee nectar...What Coffee nectar ? When you say the Mikkellers brewed it, you’ll know what I mean. Concentration with elegance, thats what its all about. Again a pure coffee sensation well packed in an elegant stout build brew. Nice mocca with soft burned notes, some lemon grass in the nose, frech herbs, jodium, chalk, tar and some liquid candico. Taste is smooth, round, elegant burned or should I say torrified with some interesting salty and minerally accents, It has a sweet edge and a sexy touch of thai lemon grass. The beer is thick but not sticky, tasty with a lingering effect. I don’t care if these coffee beans comes out of the droppings of a civette-cat, the beer is damn good.

draught at kbh beerdays 07, black beer with no foam or carbonic. My nose almost exploted when the lovely mokka smell flew up the nose, amazing! The taste is very round and complex, and creates a warm feeling while it floates round the mouth! Amazing beer !!

Tap at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. The color is black. Lovely brown head. Aroma is a fantastic balance of exclusive coffee and roasted malt. The flavor is coffee all the way. Also lots of bitterness and maybe dark, dried fruits. It´s just amazing. Not extreme, just lovely.

[Sampled with the trio: Svoger, Svogergylp and Foged at EBF, 2008.] #1200. A good century with this magnificent brew with coffee from my lovely Vietnam. Deep black and little brown head. Aroma of coffee, coffee and coffee in a very great way like ex. the Beer Geek Breakfast. Some chocolate and licorice, but indeed coffee is the dominant aroflavor at all. I’ll give almost anything to have this on bottle one day. Perfect brew in worldclass!

Draught. A black beer with a big brown head, great looking beer. This beer dose not smell or taste like pooh at all? but it have a great aroma of roasted malt, coffee, more then the regular Beer Geek, and then there is some chocolate and hops. The taste is rich and of coffee and chocolate with some hops. Medium to full body with a long dry, coffee finish.

Draught at EBF 2008. Black coloured with a small beige head. Roasted aroma dominated by coffee and chocolate. Flavor is dominated by coffee and chocolate with notes of dried fruits. Fine hoppyness and perfectly balanced. Lots of coffee in the aftertaste. Nice.
