| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 17, 2008 250 ml bottle - thanks again after4ever for yet another Mikkeller gem; mark this one down for setting my expectations too high being that Beer Geek is one of my favs; pours jet black with thin tan head; aromas in your face as a rich, milky coffee bomb; but boy does the flavor fall flat, especially against the other 3 Mikkellers sampled; roasty , but very thin; quite tasty, but the weakest in this lineup; thanks again tom for sharing all of these treats JohnC (2255), Mission Viejo, California, USA

Deep black, almost oily in the glass. Tastes strong, scratchy-malty, but not too much. Oily, prickly finish, a bit woody, notes of liquorice. A beer to enjoy!
