Draught@RBESG, 2005. NIce American style barleywine. Lots of hops in the aroma, aromatic and citrusy aroma. Some sweet caramel to start, but quickly taken over by a big grapefruity/piney hops character. Very well balanced, with the alcohol present, but well hidden, a tasty barleywine.

A hazy red-brown beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet with a very big bad alcohol presence. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, cascade hops, and lots of alcohol, and with a dry end. Nice one.

RBESG05: Very hoppy aroma, loads of citrus, lychee and flowers. Flavour is sweet caramel/toffee in the start, with some nice raisin notes too. Huge hoppy long finish. Medium bodied, alcohol very well disguised. Great stuff, and congratulations to Mikkeller for a wonderful first beer.

Draught at RBESG. Dark amber. Big grapefruity aroma. Boldly malty with lots of caramel blown away by massive hops. Still young with some raw sugariness, but already pleasant with developed flavours. Very dalty, bitter finish.

Draft @ RBESG 2005 Huge nose of very fresh and aggressive hops, then a truely phenomenal malt profile, very caramel like. Brown to dark amber body, slight hazyness, small off-white head. The flavor start out very malty, loads of caramel, then comes a big ol shot of fresh and piney hops. A very delicious barley wine.

Draught at RBESG 2005. Dark orange brown colour with a small baige head. Sweet hoppy pine tree aroma and a sweet very hoppy herbal taste. Medium to full body and a dry finish.
