Pours a translucent deep amber with a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits, some pine and citrus, hops still present some vanilla, toffee and toasted grains. Flavors dark fruits, kind of hot still, dry, hops, carame, nuts and toasted malt. Should age nicely.

12 oz bottle shared with padrefan98. Dark fruit and molassas off this murky brown ale with a smallish head. Flavors were similar, with caramel and toffee. Decent hopping on the finish. citrus and pine came through to make this a pretty hoppy barley wine. Pretty good.

An amber appearance on this one. Some grapefruit, raisins, cherries, and alcohol are present in the aroma. The flavor is rather sweet but has a slight bitter bite to it. I taste some maple, caramel, raisins, and a hint of citrus. Overall this was a good beer.

This BW is dark reddish-orange with a small head. The aroma is quite hoppy with notes of fruit, alcohol and candy sugar. The flavour is hoppy with a nice bitterness, warming alcohol, caramel, raisin, roasted malt and candy sugar. IMO it’s more hoppy than the average BW and I think it would mature nicely.

Pours a murky reddish amber with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet, bubblegum, English, alcohol, sweet, caramel, port, basement notes. The flavor is strong and rich, alcohol very apparent, definitely more of a hop profile in the flavor compared to the nose, sweet mellowed fruit, caramel. Nice smooth palate. Not too carbonated and not syrupy thick. Leaves a strong finish and warms on the way down.

The color was medium amber/ruby. The head was creamy, off-white, and laced some. The aroma was sweet malt, caramel malt, alcohol, and aged. The flavor was that of an English-style barley wine. It was alcohol, sweet malt, dark fruit, and aged. The palate was thick-bodied. The finish was warm and long-lasting.

12.7 oz corked and caged green bottle poured a clear amber with a lasting light amber head, Aromas of carmel, toffee, figs, dates, pepper and alcohol. Palate was medium bodied smooth and warming. Flavors of figs, brown sugar, carmel, pepper and alcohol with a smooth warming bittersweet finish. Very noticable alcohol and fairly one dimensional Barleywine,
