Would all politically correct morons please note that this is a barley wine, not a stupid barley wine style ale, there is no such thing. People who complain about the proper name should drink piss. jbrus (4883), Delft, Netherlands

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Bottle. Pours ruby with a small beige head. Sweet aroma of toffee, stone fruit, black current and caramel malt. The flavour is sweet fruit, toffee and alcohol, which dominates. Medium bodied. Sweet and syrupy mouthfeel with a sweet, bitter finish. It’s a good barley wine but really needs more time in the bottle.
