Served in the shop, saturday the EBF-weekend 2008. Has a real funny colour, purple I think, head is light-purple too. Aroma is clear acidic, typical lambic, but not much blueberries. Flavor starts only with a small amount of sweetness, turning right away to acidity. Not much fruit. Dry texture.

On tap at Ølbutikken during the beer festival days in Copenhagen 08. Pours a deep red touching a violet-purple with a huge pink head. The nose is both sour and sweet with fresh berries and danish summer. The taste is smooth and light sour. I taste citrusfruits like grapfruits and notes of berries. The palate is rather waterish - unlike other Mikkeller products. This one is not that complex but wonderfull refreshing. #121

Rating #1from the european beer festival 2008. Well this was of course samplet a few hours before the the doors opened saturday. Dark red look and the one i sipped from had no head. Aroma has loads of old earth and sourness with a good amount of blueberries and some candy suger. Flavor is a mix between tart and sweet. Highly sipable.

Rubin red with a light orange shine, creamy pink head; Very straight lambic nose, citrus, notes of oak, very little sour fruit aroma; Very acetic body, soft textured, very little carbonation; Strangely enough marzipan notes in the finish, very little straight berry aroma as well, lots of wood. Very good, but the berries are a little to discrete.

[Sampled with the trio: Svoger, Svogergylp and Foged at Mikkeller event release, 2008.] A very different kind of lambic, but a drinkable one. Horsehouse is dominant. Deep red and some purple. Acid, citric, lemon, soft, edge, old soil. Another Mikkeller gem!

Cask at Olbutikken, Copenhagen. Opaque pinky red with a sour berry/fruit vinegar nose. The blueberry taste is nicely restrained and this is not too harsh a lambic.

Tap at Olbutikken. Hazy dark red with a purple head. Original tart canitllon like feel. Woody, dry, earthy, crisp & sticky. Very fruity blueberry. Amazing!
