Draught Stunning purple-red colour, with amazing depth; dark pink rim. Fruit, difficult to identify, like a very freshly mixed fruitlambic. Amazingly good, flavourful lambicky-fruit concoction, quite some fruitacids. Deep velvety MF and lipsmacking sourness. Mikkeller fruit gem. ’nuff said.

Deep red with medium pink head. Sour aroma with blueberries, barnyard and leather notes. Sour flavour with blueberries, barnyard and woody notes. Ends sour. So well balanced. Lovely!

Cask at Ølbutikken, Oehlenschlægersgade 2, 1663 Copenhagen, Denmark. Clear medium to dark red color with a average, frothy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, pink red head. Aroma is moderate to heavy, fruity - berry, blueberries - blackcurrant, sour, tart, wood. Flavor is heavy sweet and acidic with a long duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Lovely - very nice ... Thanks Jeppe ... [130908]

To celebrate my 400th ratingÆ Deep red with tiny pink head. Strong lambiek notes, lot of sour fruits and berries. Flavour is sour and tart, very sour finish and nice dryness.

Deep red to purple beer with a lasting pink head. There is a little berry in the nose, along with classic lambic grapefruit and leather, and a unique medicinal touch which works well with the rest. I found it in other Mikkeller lambics as well, so it must be Copenhagen V wild yeast rather than a blueberry thing. Tart berry flavour with a complex mix of sourness and funk. Long lasting aftertaste of fresh blueberries.

[Sampled with the trio: Svoger, Svogergylp and Foged at Mikkeller event release, 2008.] A very different kind of lambic, but a drinkable one. Horsehouse is dominant. Deep red and some purple. Acid, citric, lemon, soft, edge, old soil. Another Mikkeller gem!

On tap at Olbutikken on the Saturday morning of EBF 08. Cloudy deep raspberry colour wtih a thin beige head. Definite nice fruit aroma. Bit of funk. Very fruity in mouth, gorgeous intense blue berry in mouth. That is very good. Very dry and woody finish. Good balancing acidity. Lasting fruit and dryness on finish. Excellent.

Tap at Olbutikken. Hazy dark red with a purple head. Original tart canitllon like feel. Woody, dry, earthy, crisp & sticky. Very fruity blueberry. Amazing!
