Commercial Description:
Finally……! Black Hole is what Mikkeller is all about. Daring, vulgar and extreme. From the very beginning Mikkellers goal has been to push the limit and with this warming, intense imperial stout, a new chapter in the Danish beer history has been written. The high bitterness from the hops and the sweetness from the malt and alcohol, creates a good balance which makes Black Hole an explosion of nuances, but also leaves a feeling of a perfect and complex beer – in the heavyweight category.

Aroma is strong coffee. Average/virtally none initial apperance. Black body. Heavy bitter and strong tast of coffee, and a long finish duration. Medium to full palate.

Pour is blacker than black with small amount of foamy deep brown head. Aromas of coffee, licorice, alcohol, and malt. Nice thick body that coats your mouth. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt, and some alcohol in the finish. Awesome brew!

Another beer from imadeadguy. This poured darker than it’s name. It had a serious alcohol nose on it, and really kicked my ass. I really enjoyed the ass kicking though. Stong smoked coffee bean flavors with a powerful alcohol burn going down. I tasted hints of dark chocolate too. This beer leaves tons of lacing on the side of the glass. Very impressive Impy Stout, just wayyyy overpriced. I think a couple years of darkness will do wonders for this beer.

Aroma is slightly woody, smoky, dark malt and orange hops. Appearance is dense brown with scant head and solid legs. Taste is big and orangy, slightly caramel- coffee and fruit also come through. Finishes thick orange with a nice hoppiness that lingers harshly. Taste is fruity esters, orange hops, and coffee. Very decent. Imperial Stout Tasting Results ---re-rate may be necessary---

Bottle. Black beer with a brown head. Malty, chocolate, coffee aroma with backing hops. Rich dark malt flavor with backing coffee and balancing hops. A bit of chocolate showing. Nothing overpowering - great balance with bitterness in background. Lingering malt, coffee, bitter hops. Good beer.

Bottle poured into a sniffer produces a coco head that lasted momentarily and fizzled out to a ring of lace around the glass. All this on top of a Jet black body Aromas of sweet malts chocolate and coffee and defiantly some alcohol there as well It tastes like sweet boozy coffee with some chocolate thrown in for good luck. Way to much alcohol flavor It’s a sipper for sure but I’ll pass on this one again

Pours black with some amber highlights and brown head. Aroma of chocolate, dark fruit, vanilla, some nuttiness, and some coffee. Alcohol present. Flavor of chocolate, abundant citrus hoppiness, coffee, some nuttiness, and alcohol. Palate is thick with a dry finish. Superb.
