First off, I am a smoke beer fan. This is a very nice smoke beer with the appropriate smokey aroma. Rich beer with a smoked bacon taste without being greasy. Some dark bread and burnt toffee notes. Very enjoyable smoke.

Surprise of the Ohio gathering. A hoppy rauch from Denmark, thanks to the trading skills of JSquires. Dark mahogony and good bubbly head. Good lace. Nice deli smoke aroma. Very hoppy with bitter smokey finish. Lovely for the style.

Bottle thanks to jsquire for sharing: Murky brown pour with a nice tan head. Aroma, very smoky. Flavor, smoky as expected, but it’s got a nice malty backbone to it. The smoke is much more mellow than other smoked beers I’ve had. Very good stuff.

Brown color; thick head. Delicate smoked aroma, with some cardboard, vanilla. Good malty body, some residual sugars, light liquorice. The final is somehow empty of emotions, but with an average bitterness. Some hidden hops. Gentle Smoked.

Pour is clearish brown with a thin off white head...smell is wonderfully sweet and nutty at first, with strong smoke coming on in the back...not really the traditional pork or BBQ smoke, but more of a nice campfire smoke...wonderful mouthfeel and not imbalanced like most other rauchs...wonderful...

Huge thanks again to Mullman for the Danish beers at my party. Pours a cloudy muddled brown with some woody greyish brown hints and a thin dissipating head. Aroma is old burnt wood, campfire smoldering, slightly meaty, and heads towards being medicinal. Cigarett smokey flavor with some cigar, tarry, smoked fish, burnt caramel malts and a light sweetness in the end. Really nice smoke beer.

Poured in a big Riedel Bordeaux glass. The color of this beer is deep amber with a hazy brown body and a warm orange glow. The head is off white to beige and not very long lasting, it leaves a nice foamy rim on the edge of the glass. The aroma is very interesting, it has indeed a smooth smoky touch but is very well integrated without being overpowering. In the nose, the caramely accents and the hints of herb bonbons ara working very well with the smell of banana on the BBQ poured over with some maple sirup. The main thing is the outstanding ballance and the elegance of the aromas. Smoke aroma’s are sometimes to overpowering but in this beer it is so smooth and interesting. Now the taste. The beer is very drinkable and has a medium boddied mouthfeel with a refreshing spritsyness. There are nice accents of milkbread crust, caramel, caramel malts, nuts, dry figg without the sweetness, minerals and the residu of burned sugar in a cake baking tin. The well integrated smokyness accentuates the complex minerality in this most outstanding brew. A true complex beer with a smooth sweet nuttyness a low dosis of bitters and an interesting metally mineralety. Com on Rouch On. I just love it.
