ErikTheViking (76), Oslo, Norway Aug 11, 2009 22 July at Cardinal. Extremely complex and tasty beer, and quite good after a while, but very expensive too. Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 9, 2009 750 ml bottle@Cardinal. Dim orange body with a big, foamy off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma, grapefruit, orange, caramel and grass. Flavor is fruity, refreshing, orange, malt, spices and relatively bitter. Nice body, feels heavy at the same time as it’s easy drinkable. Amazing good balance and no sign of the big alcohol. Dangerous! Tmoney99 (4655), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 8, 2009 Bottle at wine, cheese and beer store in Livingston, MT.
Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was lasting and produced good lacing. Good moderate to heavy hoppy and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth sticky texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with with a moderate bittersweet finish of moderate duration.

CheersMate1 (766), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 4, 2009 25.4 oz bottle picked up at Greens on Ponce De Leon. A little expensive, and hopefully, well worth it. I was planning on saving this for a get together this Friday, but I couldn’t resist. Anyways, orange/brown appearance with a very fluffy head that SLOWLY fades away. Damn good looking beer. Very aromatic hop aroma. Very aromatic beer. There is this subtle fruity/sweet aroma. Slight yeast smell coming from the beer as well. This is a very nuanced beer, in terms of aroma. Sweet caramel/fruit taste at first than the hops take over. Very nice hop flavor that fades away, and leaves a semi-sweet somewhat bitter taste in your mouth. Very nice beer. Not incredibly smooth, but an average palate. Nice beer. Ober (1161), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands Jul 6, 2009 A hazy yellow/golden colored beer, with a thick foamy white head. The aroma of bitterhops with fruits like citrus. The taste of bitter American hops with fruity sweet in a pleasant way. well balanced. The aftertaste is sweet with a lot of bitterness.
