greenhorn1 (458), Mission Viejo, California, USA May 26, 2008 750 ml bottle. Imperial Pilsner sums it up pretty well. Pours a cloudy straw color with a HUGE frothy head. Sweet, lightly hopped, aroma. Flavor is citrus, pale malt, floral, perfume, and some earthiness. I know that sounds a bit strange, but it all blends together very well. Almost a creamy mouthfeel with a slight warming sensation. This is a great crisp brew, just in time for the summer. Shag (1922), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA May 26, 2008 What this isn’t classified as malt liquor? Joking aside this was pretty good. A dark golden appearance. The aroma contains some citrus mainly lemons and perfume. The flavor contains some citrus and is rather hoppy for a lager. Not a bad effort. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2008 Date: 05/10/2008

awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA May 21, 2008 From a 750mL Bottle. Transparent, orangish brass colored body with a large head of rocky white. A mild sulphury, lager bite centers the attention on a sweet grainy malt base and some orange citrus hops. Fruity notes from the hops, but not a lot of pungent bitterness present in the nose. Touches of maize. White pepper? Medium-full bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel with a sweet, plodding texture. Simple grainy malt profile, light, sweet, with hints of corn. There is a respectable amount of hop bitterness that tries to help counteract the grain sweetness, but it has a bit of an oniony flavor that’s a bit off-putting. Pine needles, but the hops never really are able to create a refreshing sensation amongst the heavy malt character. It’s got a great lager crispness and cleanliness, but the malt sweetness and hops don’t really work well together for my tastes. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA May 21, 2008 750 ml bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a hazy light golden color with a large white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is floral and fruity. Flavor is mostly esters. Medium body. A good beer. MIBRomeo (1962), Wisconsin, USA May 18, 2008 off orange pour w/ a big soapy white head and great lacing... Lightly cloudy body. Traditional belgian style aroma lots of spices.. definite coriander light alcohols touches of grain... another something I just couldn’t pick out behind the alcohol. Full well coated palate too astringent on the tongue. Flavor is too dry on the tongue, almost makes me think brett or wood, not enough resiz sugar for this beer.. some coriander and pepper seem to come through w/ a grassy finish... ok but I don’t like this much at all. mugabe (215), Sweden May 17, 2008 Bottle. Hazy orange, thick head. Hoppy grapefruity aroma, very IPA-like. Flowery, spicy pine:y taste, dry hoppy finish with a nice alcohol sting. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA May 15, 2008 Bottle. Body-orange/yellow hazy, loose quarter inch off white head with moderate lacing. Nose-soft medium hops, light grapefruit/PNW hops 9amazingly hoppy), light white spices, smells like a cold, stale, clean refrigerator, light perfume. Taste-high CO2, chamomile, flower petals, rose water, clean Belgian yeast, very clean, perfect medium sweetness, light bitter on the backend. Beautifully done.
