Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Nov 29, 2007 Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Bright and thick pour of tangerine orange. Lemon meringue crust, grass and honey aroma; suggestions of earthy sweetness in pistachio and almond oils. Ebullient, cheerful hop flavors of flowers, rainy grasses, and citrus skins. Brilliantly alive and zesty. Crisp and earthy pilsener rests plaintively beneath, well-presented and deftly reserved, though malty enough to completely muscle out any hint of alcoholic foulness. Sparkly and lively in the mouth; vegetally textured. The hay-like bitterness of yerba mate and noble hops lend a quiet but forceful leafiness to the finish. Reserved, but not halfhearted in the slightest; this could not be any more skillfully done. Thanks for sharing, Ken! tarjei (1741), Bryne, Norway Nov 26, 2007 75 cl bottle. Dark golden color, big white head. Hoppy and fruity, citric and some caramel. This is how I like my pilsener.... Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Nov 18, 2007 Draught at Copenhagen Beerfestival 2007. Clear golden colour with a nice white head. Nice aroma of hops. Nice tasty pilsener flavour of hops and malt very refreshing and hard to find the 8 % abv. One of the best and tasty pilsener I ever had. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 13, 2007 Considering the style, Scores ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most intense

Comments: Tea-like hops, herbal and fully flowery. Bright American character (amarillo, cascade?), but delicious pale pils malt foundation. Tight-bodied. Very different. Gorgeous stuff.
JensenTaster (1585), Denmark Nov 7, 2007 (on tap -draft bear aka fadbamse, yeah I got it) Slightly yellow, white head. Good hopping the nose, makes one espect a powerfull beer. Taste is first sweet, but very balanced. The hopping never gets to dominating. Get´s very easily drinkable as one drinks on. This is just a fab IIIPilsner and shows that a hardcore beer, can be smooth and so inviting. duff (5474), Surrey, Greater London, England Oct 29, 2007 Bottle. Hoppy aroma, some alcohol noticed, lightly floral. Palate shows some nice bitter hops. Peach and citrus fruit come through. Alcohol is there, but is balanced, warming, rather than aggressive. Very nice beer. FatPhil (3443), Espoo, Finland Oct 28, 2007 Updated: Dec 14, 2007660ml bottle (Porvoo Harvest/Dark Beer Festival 2007)
cloudy orange, healthy head. lovely hoppy aroma, slightly gingery. strongly hoppy taste, but not excessively so. long and strong bitter finish. shockingly powerful, but not unpleasantly so.
beermouth (434), Langeskov, Denmark Oct 18, 2007 Orange/yellow with everlasting head...
Very hoppy aroma and taste, maybe to much actually! Bit of malt, hay and corn-like taste... Good balance, but to hoppy when thinking about pilsner/lager...
