Very hoppy aroma and taste, maybe to much actually! Bit of malt, hay and corn-like taste... Good balance, but to hoppy when thinking about pilsner/lager... stouby (1937), Holbaek, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Fantastic aroma of herbal hops and slightly sweet maltiness. Pours with a frothy white head, almost like bubble bath bubbles. Tastes like a pilsner in the herbal hops, dryness, but has a little sweetness due to the higher gravity. But that could be because this is not a very fresh bottle- 10 months! The hops have really held up. Herbal and fruity in the taste, but has a finishing sweetness that ultimately is still pretty dry. Very solid. skortila (2903), Bunnik, Netherlands

Taste is a bit sweet with more bitterness in the finish. It has fruity hops and a touch of malts. Nice. European strong lager?? Didn’t know I liked it. bierkoning (6023), La Tropica, Netherlands

Oily earthy hops in the flavor, with a fair deal of red berries and citrus present. Long hoppy aftertaste. Straightforward, well made and well balanced beer.
