Commercial Description:
Brewed by Mikkeller at De Proefbrouwerij in Lochristi, Belgium.

’Fad bamse’ is a highly hopped and dry hopped imperial pilsner with a light body and lovely crispyness from the lager yeast.
A Danish pilsner is typically characterized by an alcohol content of 4,6% vol., piss-yellow colour and a sexless, slightly bitter taste. But it doesn’t have to be like this…! Draft Bear is Mikkellers interpretation of a ’pilsner’, heavyweight-style. With its powerful hop notes, high alcohol content and lovely golden appearance, the only reference to the pilsner style is the clean taste of the lager yeast.
Ingredients : Water, malts (pils, carapils and amber), light candy sugar, hops (amarillo and cascade) and lager yeast.

Amazing head retention, creamy yet rocky. The aroma boast some sensual dry hopping and hints of plums. Orange and grapefruit zest, plums, red apple, biscuity toasted honey wheat bread flavor. - Dangerously drinkable!

Bottle shared by myself at hellbilly’s holiday tasting. Hazy gold color pour with a small lasting head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, light sweet malt and yeast. Flavor is malty and fruity with a decent hop bite on the finish. Pretty nice brew.

Bottle shared at tasting. Pours hazy orange with a beige head. Smell is very light on the alcohol with some subtle hops. Taste is sweet, light hops and some sweet cedary woodiness. Sweet and bitter at the same time but leaning too sugary to be very good. So so.

Maybe im just not crazy about the style. Wasn’t crazy about this bear. Alcohol very present. Peppery, hoped, thick palate. Malty.
