Nose was soft with notes of fleshy peach fruitiness that’s layered over warm caramel coated biscuits. Dried sugary fuzzy fruits balance well on a grassy citric hop bitterness. A touch of caramel malt rounds this out well. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet hoppy finish. One of the better Imperial Pils I have encountered. Well done… stouby (1955), Holbaek, Denmark

Yellow with a large beige head, ok lacings. Aroma moderate malty, heavy hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet, heavy bitter, yet round. Medium body, strong in alcohol. travita (1952), Frisco, Texas, USA

Golden to orange in color. Taste is a balance between the hops and the malts, floral, and some sweetness. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Hazy golden, large head that lasts and coats the glass nicely. Grassy Bohemian nose, pale malts backing it. Medium bodied, soft mouthfeel, moderate bitterness but very drinkable. Like a really big and balanced Czech pilsner. Not exactly delicate, but I don’t see how that’s possible. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 26, 2008 What this isn’t classified as malt liquor? Joking aside this was pretty good. A dark golden appearance. The aroma contains some citrus mainly lemons and perfume. The flavor contains some citrus and is rather hoppy for a lager. Not a bad effort. ucusty (1915), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

Hazy gold pour, big fluffy head, and excellent lace! Grainy aroma with hints of saaz hops. Crisp and clean flavor consisting of fruit, malts and hops Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2008 C&C 750. Clear gold with a massive off white head that descends rockily. The label says Malt Liquor, which evokes images of paper bags and park benches. This is far from that! The nose is sweet grain drenched in citrus and grass. The flavor is bitter hop madness, citrusy and grassy with a light caramel tinge. IPA lovers should dig this, for sure. Very drinkable. Medium bodied and slightly slick, a touch of hotness in the finish Interesting stuff! Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England
