| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 18, 2008 This orange ale poured with a nice beige head and a fruity caramel malt aroma. The flavor is bread and caramel with exceptional hopping that produced a mouthful of delicious bitterness. There was a nice lacing along the inside of my glass right to the finish. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Pours a substantial golden amber with a one finger white head. The aroma is fairly strong, sweet, bitter hoppy, a little grassy and citrusy. Bitter waxy flavor, sweet, sweet, rich, light alcohol. Nice to try But I would like it in something smaller than a 750 for cheaper than 14 dollars. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 6, 2008 750 ml. Clear orange-amber with a large head that settles down to a lasting ring, leaving cobwebs behind. Aroma similar to an IPA: citrus, resin and flowery honey. Flavors are similar and well-hopped. Slight additional hints of dryish lager yeast, grass and alcohol that linger in the aftertaste. I would swear this was an IPA if it wasn’t labeled otherwise. Light-medium body is lightly carbonated and finishes dry. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Courtesy of Beerlando. Pours a lightly hazy orange, with a small white head. Smells of pretty profound hops, some light citrus fruit, with a small malt presence. The flavor is moreprominent in its malt character as they take the forefront. A little bit grainy, but not annoyingly so. The hops are also definitely noticeable and all seem to join pretty well together to make up this beer’s identity. Another solid offering from this brewery. Crosling (1855), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Yellow color with a full, long lasting foam. Well hopped nose, with citrus, spice-like, lemony and fruity hops. Very vibrant. Flavor is very punchy with loads of fruity (orange, tangerine, lemon) and spicy hops. Also, some notes of butter toffee and caramel as well. This is a very nice beer from Mikkeller, one of the better Imperial Pilsners I’ve had. Beer2000 (1828), Kristiansand, Norway
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 9, 2009 750 ml bottle@Cardinal. Dim orange body with a big, foamy off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma, grapefruit, orange, caramel and grass. Flavor is fruity, refreshing, orange, malt, spices and relatively bitter. Nice body, feels heavy at the same time as it’s easy drinkable. Amazing good balance and no sign of the big alcohol. Dangerous!
