Distinctly German, but Pilsner nonetheless. Pour is a hazy gold with rambunctious head. Tasty and bitter, huge noble hop aroma, a little bread. Mostly, though, this is really hoppy and bitter in a clean, somewhat astringent way. Pretty nice, but far from perfect. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA

Kinda like a saison without the funk. Lots of grassiness and hay in there. Little musty. Not sure what to make of it, but I do know I kinda dig it. gam (1112), brisbane, Australia

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 16, 2008 Poured 24 karat with a massive 3-inch head that slowly receded but left mountains of foam on the side of the glass. Aroma is grassy and extremely floral (more so than any beer I can remember)...similar to what one would experience in an orange grove. Flavor is crisp and fruity...with obvious tangerine, nectarine, and orange. Amazing beer...not sure why others were so harsh in their ratings. M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg
