Caged & corked with a fake wax cork. Poured out a dark, hazy, yellow color, with a sticky white head. Aromas are of piney hops, citrus rinds, sweet malts, some spices. Flavors are piney hops, sweet malts, sulfurous yeast. Medium mouthfeel, decent body. Alcohol is dangerously well hidden. Hell of a beer overall. chicagodri (1046), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2008 Draft at EBF. Murky orange, firm pale head. Sweetish, bubblegummy aroma, passion fruity hops. Nicely hoppy, mango and citric fruity flavor, bubblegum, very smooth maltiness. Medium to full bodied, round soft carbonation. A good beer, nothing to do with a pilsner though. probstk (1034), Nepean, Ontario, Canada

App.: Clear, deep golden, large rocky froth.
Aroma: Grapes and apricots, peppery-spicey hops, toffee, quite fruity.
Palate: Medium+ body, soft carbonation, smooth and full.
Flav.: Still fruity but more hops comes through – peppery, spicy and piney, somewhat resinous, some toffee; a bit of alcohol, off-dry with fair bitterness.
Great stuff with a nice kick! gunhaver (1025), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a hazy straw yellow, with a medium filmy head, with good sheets of lacing. Hoppy aroma, with vanilla and caramel in the malty background. Spicy on the tongue, with a distinct hop profile. Sweet, and some slight citrus. Not really lager-like. Medium-bodied, easy drinking. Surprisingly balanced. Defreni (1003), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Duft af citron, humlen slĺr virkelig igennem, nćrmest en IPA lavet pĺ undergćr. Smagen er kraftigt humlet med citron og en anelse mango i slutnoten. armando629 (985), Budapest, Hungary
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 21, 2008 When i opened the bottle, the floral hop perfume slapd me...Nice amber body with a brutal, stable, foamy lacing head. Aroma of hop, pine, resin and malt, after a while goes some yeast. The flavor is about the strong hop, the resin-taste dominates the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel with the hop, fine fruity body, sweet malt, some caramel and some shifty yeast. Dry aftertaste. blklab2007 (962), Connecticut, USA
