It has body, balls, caracter, cripy hops and lots of taste, Dangerous 8% but who cares, it is damn tasty. Deep golden color, with nice white fluffy head. Aroma is munich malts, cereals, nutpeel, grass and mouthwatering crisp hops (Cascades and Amarillo’s). The taste and mouthfeel is just right. It has flesh, a good strong structure and a clever balans. The roundness caused by the alcohol is so well countered by this smart selection of hops. Outstanding lager, I don’t think there is a substitute. Yummy, thirst killing but o so dangerous. corby112 (757), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Pours a cloudy golden amber/ orange color with a huge, foamy off-white head that settles into a lasting lace. Aroma is nicely balanced with hints of citrus peel, hops, crisp fruit, pine and malt. Very quaffable and excelently balanced, with a complex flavors. Nice malty backbone balancing out sweet crisp fruit, lemon and orange peel, and a nice citrus/ floral hop presence that lasts throughout. Alcohol warmth in the finish. fiver29 (726), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Bottle pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is caramel hop aroma that has a twang of citrus that is probably past its prime. Flavor follows suit and is a hoppy malty brew that is beyond its prime. Overall a nice brew. deyholla (724), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Bottle, 75cl. Pours a nice yellow/orange, slightly hazy, beer, with a nice white head. The arome is nicely balanced hops, with american hops clearly. When tasting the beer it is very balanced and the hops are very caracteristic. The body is slightly fuller than one would expect from a pilsner, but this does not make this a bad beer. The beer has a nice balanced mouthfeel, that leaves a good experience. Overall a good imperial pilsner, with american notes. arrogantb (710), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 8, 2009 I am pretty sure I got a good deal on this bottle, it was priced at $6.99 for 750ml. The color was a hazy orange and it smelled like a peppery, grassy IPA. There are obviously a good amount of hops in this beer. the first taste reminds me a little of Sam Adams imperial pilsner, a very fruity, hoppy flavor. This beer has convinced me to drink more of Mikkeller’s beers.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Poured from 750 ml a golden hay or straw color, a bit haz. Aroma of hops, field grasses, and malts. Formed huge foamy head. Lacing was incredible with each swig. Flavour smooth with malts and hops, perfectly balanced. Spices, along with pines come through making this a wonderful college of flavour that says "this what a beer should be like". Bottom line, Mikkeller does it again, a beer to be experienced. Behold it, as it sits it your goblet, for it is truly beer!
