Pine and citrus notes soar off of this beer, these two also combine to great effect in the mouth along with a touch of cape gooseberry just to add an additional tang, I like this but feel that it comes across as more of an IPA than a European strong lager, I’m really surprised that it isn’t an IPA, anyway regardless of where it sits its lovely. Yet another very good beer from Mikkeller. larsniclas (3390), Gothenburg, Sweden

Cloudy dark yellow colour. Low head. Fresh lemony aroma with a light touch of sweet mango or comparising tropical fruits. Sweetish flavour, alcohol feel with delicious notes of tropical fruits. Nicely attenuated still, in spite of the sweetness. Dry and tad sweet at the same time? Light chewy, almost fizzy mouthfeel. Perfect balance of sweet and dry. Good steady bitterness. ratman197 (3254), Arvada, Colorado, USA
