On tap at the "U medvidku", Praha: Deep amber coloured, quickly vanishing beige-brownish head; dried fruit, roasted malt in the sweet-caramelly nose; full sweet flavour, full bodied, a bit sirupy; leather and tobacco in the sweet finish, rounded by a shy bitter aftertaste. Absolutely not my cup of tea, but a very interesting cough-syrup....

Oct 4, 2008 Bottled from brew pub. Pours hazy and dark amber with a tiny of-white head. Nose of fruits, malt and alcoholl. Sweet flavor of ripep fruits and caramel. Medium to full bodied. The finish is more sour.

Oct 1, 2008 bottle @ U medvidku, prague. Bottle says not to drink alone!!! 500 year old recipe. Port wine-ish, red grapes, dried fruits,figs, prunes. Boozy. Sweet Sweet. Soy. Really caramely. Very strange to say the least

Sep 30, 2008 Bottle. Wow! This one pours a really nice rubyred color. Aroma is flowery and fruity with some caramel and portwine notes. Taste is fruity and sweet with loads of caramell and vinious notes along with some roasted malt. Really good!

Sep 23, 2008 Small foam as expected for such a strong beer. Dark-brown-red color. Nice aroma of flowers and dried fruit. The fruitines is also present in the taste together with some sweetness that balance the bitterness and alcohol. A realy nice sipping beer for a cold eavning before the fire place.

Aug 28, 2008 Bottle @ the brewpub. Hazy red with medium off white short lasting head. Slightly sourish aroma with berry, toasted malt and woody notes. Sourish flavor with caramel, berries and roasted malt. Some wood in there aswell. Ends mild sour.
