Fruity, aromatic aroma, clearly brewed with belgian yeast, with notes of tropical fruits. Medium bodied and smooth. Very refreshing, dry with a kind of gentle bitterness, surprisingly for a Mikkeller brew. gnoff (3570), Göteborg, Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 25, 2009 33 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg. On April 24, 2009 BB 08/01/11 Clear deep golden color, big off-white head. Huge hoppy, grape, citrus, acidic scent. Hoppy bitter taste, acidic and grape. Big smooth mouthfeel, big bitterness. Pineapple aftertaste. I don’t know, think I’m personally getting a bit fed up with huge american hops hoppy beers that aren’t balaned by any "smaller" hops. It’s a nice beer, I just get bored... petermadsen (391), Vesterbronxxx, Denmark

Aroma is very hoppy with notes caramel, grass and pine. The flavour is thick and fullbodied with notes of lichee, caramel and heaps of hops. Quite bitter and drinkable! sunevdj (1775), Copenhagen OE, Denmark
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 22, 2009 Bottle at home. Pours a Clearish yellow with an off-white head and lacings. Sweet with some bitterness. Strong hoppy aromas of exotic fruits. Also some caramel and tiny hints of honey towards the end. Also tiny hints of plant sap and residual sugars. Tastes a bit like Mikkeller Nelson Sauvin. Hides alcohol extremely well. Full bodied. Medium carbonation. Long bitter finish. Very good. lassem (307), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 22, 2009 An order from an excellent and craving importer to the pt most innovative brewer and newly honered as the best brewer in Denmark - for the second time.. This double IPA has the most flowery and juicy aroma that you can think of - An intire swedish blooming field in the middle of julyhas been poured into this one. The appearence is dark moisty orange with a fine lasting white head. I first had this one when it first arrived...and it was even more flowery-hoppy then - its strange how quickly theese dry-hopped IPAs looses the best they got... this is still excellent I think and the flavor is really good...and soooo ballanced. The taste of alcohol is there - but I would never guess that this one hits more than 10 %. Some yeast notes mixes up the fruity and hoppy flavor with hints of grass, malts, burned oranges and honey.. Above all this one is fresh without beeing pale and light.. the palate is creamy without being to fat. The finish is long and smooth with a fresh bitterness that again is best descriped as... yep balanced - Home run - good one. hey ho. Ungstrup (15258), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 19, 2009 Another Mikkeller beer drunk to celebrate a century, this time my rating number 12,600. I’ve had this many times mostly on draft and so far only once bottled. A slightly hazy light amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of spices, elderflowers, hops, and citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops, grass, grapefruit, lemon peal, and medium notes of elderflowers and malt as well as lighter notes of alcohol and toffee, leading to a dry and quite bitter finish. Not as crazy as I’d thought it would be, but a very drinkable DIPA, though you have to beware of the alcohol - two pints of this and I am drunk. deyholla (707), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

Definitely picked up the hoppiness in the aroma. A bitter flavor that last in to a nice finish. A very solid IIPA. HenrikSoegaard (4353), Randers, Denmark
