Bottle. Huge head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops and flowers. Nicely balanced with caramel and citrus.

Draft @ Ørsted Ølbar. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity fresh hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity bitter hoppy finish with a long slighlty buring hoppy aftertaste.

Pours a slightly hazy orange with a mid-sized head that shows fair persistence. Aroma contains lots of citrus, some passionfruit and lychee. Quite grassy and fairly floral as well. A fair amount of sweet cookie dough-like malt is also present. Delightful. Flavours are first of all the clean sweet malt before the green hoppyness kicks in. The alcohol merges in with the solid bitterness to form quite a hard-hitting finish. High carbonation works well to cut the upfront sweetness.

330ml bottle. BB 08/01/11 Hazy pale orangey gold body, good inch work of thick, creamy white head that hangs around. I oddly get the underlying biscuity malt on the nose first, lucky to get a go at all with the tirade of hop aroma that follows; grass, bitter orange and lemon peel as opposed to grapefruit, spice and pepper and herbs, light tropical fruits possibly melon. Not as aggressive as many AIPAs to begin. Thick, oily, resiny body, carbonation is moderate and creamy, it all seems to pack in alot of flavour without the slightest indication of its strength, which scares me a bit. Juicy mouthful of hop flavour explodes with plenty of citrus rind, grass and spice. Apricots, lemons, nectarines and unripe melon seem to sum up the flavours in there, with a great deal of spice, and a backbone of golden syrup and sweet cake maltiness that somehow absorbs it all. Finishes with big lingering hop spice and assertive, yet somehow welcoming, bitterness. Takes a few sips to realise the warmth on the way down! Terrifyingly easy to drink DAPA. Packs a good punch of hops, yet not as agressive as some of the other regular IPA’s from Mikkeller, and in a good way too. Very nice!

Bottle 33 cl. Dark orange, hazy with a medium frothy head. Aroma; Lemon is the main, but also sweet fruits and sence of spices. Flavor; More bitter, sweet malty, but the fruits are still there. Nice bitter ending.
