0.33 l bottle, thanks Papsoe and Timo A.! Pale amber hazy color. Medium white head. An intense and pleasant sweetish, fruity and hoppy aroma with citrus, pine needles, grapefruit and honey. The flavor is also sweetish with nice notes of hops, grapefruit, citrus, lemon and honey. The drying and quite bitter aftertaste is enduring and rich too.The notes of alcohol are well hidden both in aroma and in flavor. A well-made and absolutely enjoyable DIPA.

Probably the best Mikkeller I’ve had yet. Big head upon pouring; very white and quite fizzy. Nose shows lots of graepfruit, piney sweet hops and a hint of toffee. Palate shows this again but less over fruit intensity and more darker fruits and toffee coming through. Plays the power / sluggish palate line well although it was getting close. The 10% abv is hard to believe given the light touch in the front half of the palate but it does creep up over time.

Clear golden with a large beige head. Hoppy aroma with malty, piney and caramel notes. Flavour was very hoppy with pine, grapefruit, malt and caramel notes. Finished bitter and dry. Nice oily finish as well.

05-JUN--2009. Bottle @home. Fathers day and grundlovsdag (constitution day), and to celebrate my rating #100 (this is rating #101). What better to celebrate all that than a DIPA, and then even a Mikkeller? Slightly orange, beautiful colour with white head. Definately DIPA nose and taste. Lots of grape fruit and flovours. Very creamy and bitter. This is certainly my drink:-)

Refreshing, light, piney. Very nice crisp bitter rfinish. For anyone esle this would be a milestone, for Mikkeller this is another fine beer without being in their top 10.

100ml on tap at CBF 09. Nice pale golden body. Filmy layer. Balanced aroma of citric hops. Hoppy taste profile in the direction of fresh tropical fruits with a powerful dry bitter aftertaste. Well integrated alcohol. Feels just very pleasant in the mouth (17.05.2009).
