Bottled at Tre små rum, Gothenburg Slightly hazy golden. Flowery and citric aroma with passion-fruits and apricots. Pretty high bitterness. Vinous flavour with a lot of tropical fruits.

The first time I tasted this I was a bit disappointed because generally Mikkeller beers are very hoppy, so a DIPS had to be extremely hoppy, it wasn’t. But after drinking it on several occasions after I realized that if you beyond that initial disappointment, it’s just a very very great beer with a very balanced flavor.

The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass is okay. Starts strong and very complex hoppy, modest sweet. The middle turns much drier, also woody. Finish becomes milder again, well balanced, soft aftertaste. Very, very good! Thanks to HenrikSoegaard for the bottle!

Bottle. pale golden color with a touch of pink. Tangerine and grapefruit in the aroma. Initial malty sweetness challenged by an earthy and oily bitterness, with grapefruit and pineapple. Oily earthy hopbitter aftertaste with mint and mango. Satisfyingly balanced.

Bottle at the “Drink for Charity” event at Rattle & Hum. Batch 01.01 Pours a light hazy orange with a thin white head. Citrus, pine, and some fruity wheat smells. Medium bodied, lightly sweet. Great subtle dry grapefruit finish. Very refined. Excellent take on an IIPA.

bottle. Huge thick creamy beige head that really lasted. Excellent display of lacework. Light cloudy golden color. Aroma of floral, peach, grapefruit, citrus, fruit, spice. Quite smooth and chewy like feel for a DIPA. Full bodied, average carbonation, dry texture. Moderated to heavy bitter and sweet flaver well balanced. Lingering dry bitter smooth finish.
