Nov 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange/amber with a big white head. Good lacing. Sweet aroma with lots of yeast. Hops in the background. As it warms, the yeast becomes less dominant and fruity and citrusy notes appear. Bitter, slightly tart, fruity flavour. Sweet, dry, bitter finish with notes of yeast. Too much carbonation. Overall a so-so beer. The bitterness is interesting – not the ‘good’ bitterness you normally get from hops, but kind of the ‘bad’ bitterness you get in places you don’t want it (like when a nut is bitter, although this wasn’t ‘nut-like’; just an example). Not really bad though; I was still able to appreciate it, even if it wasn’t great. 08-11-09.

aroma is strong pine, grape, flowery, fresh, supernice fresh hopy aroma. sweet malty base to the aroma sensed, but it is subdued.
flavor is strong hoppy, flowery, bitterhoppy.

Oct 8, 2009 Picked up from Bacchanalia, Cambridge 03-10-09, consumed the following day at home. Pours orangey colour with haze. Nice creamy white head, tiny bubbles. Nice feel in the mouth. The sweetness from the malts combine with the sweetened grapefruit and lemon. Good lemon on nose and possibly some sherbert. Bloody lovely stuff. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.9
