Sep 1, 2009 It is a beautiful beer. Hazy yellow with an orange hue. Lots of spicy orange and citric notes in the aroma. The flavour is almost lager like - although the tomahawk does give it a bitter edge indeed. (Oz - The routine)

Medium body, malty and fruity sweetness with an amazing flowery hoppiness that leave a solid hop burn. Amazing stuff that really shows the depth of German aroma hops. 300809

Aug 22, 2009 Flaske: Flot lysegul uigennemsigtig øl. Fantastisk duft der er meget karakteristisk krydret. Knap så megen bitterhed hvilket gør den meget drikbar påtrods af den megen krydderhed også i smagen. Dejlig øl.

Light unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, flowers, perfume, grapefruit shell, moderate yeasty, soap. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy shell bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090619]

Aug 9, 2009 German IPA - you mean like the Weyermann IPA? Fairly hazy blonde-tan colour. The aroma is a bit minty, with iodine as well. Somewhat harsh hop, but fades to pleasing citrus note as more pale malts come across the palate. For a relatively moderate strength beer, it has a fairly assertive alcohol presence in the finish. Nice berry notes at the very end.

Aug 8, 2009 Bottled. Golden coloured. Unclear. Fluffy off white head. Citric and flowery aroma. A touch of sweetness and fruits. A bit subdued aroma. Grape, pine, flowers and light spice in the flavour. Flavour much more distinct than aroma. Medium bodied. Dry. Has a nice floral bitterness in the end. Easy to drink and very fresh IPA

Aug 7, 2009 Bottle (cellphone rating). Golden with off white head. Spicy, herbal and flowery aroma. Flavour is sweet and malty with herbes, chervil and a good amount of flowery bitterness. Not a beer I’m overly excited about. A little perfume as well.
