Big ole magnum and it was inviting. Pours orangey brown with a tan ring. Nose is sweet and rich and slightly floral as I recall. Taste is sweet rich caramel quite quite nice. Has points of hops and red fruit. Some wild berry smell as well. Taste is immediately striking. Dry hops fill it out but also have some thicker qualities. Some dry fruit but tasty. Aroma is of sweet fruity hops and sweet fruity malt. Slightly piney with floral and caramell notes. Flavour is intense bitter, piney and fruity, floral, slightly perfumey with fresh and clean malt character that backs up a rather bitter beast. Body is creamy and smooth. Cognac-coloured beer, moderate off-white head. Aroma of American hops and (possibly) Belgian(?) yeast. Intense bitter flavour from start to finish, very sharp. Some fruit.
