Sampled at DØE Beerfestival 2009, Valby. Pours a redbrown beer with no head. The aroma is hops, good fruity. The flavor is nice hops, malt and sweetness. The palate is dry and has a good body. Overall a good mixed beer.

Bottle. Coppery red brown colour with medium head. Aroma very hoppy and malty at the same time. Taste most of all very hoppy and quite sugar sweet as well, boozy and cloying. A weird brew. This one is going for too much and gets too boozy and unharmonic, very astringent. As said early too much of everything.

Bottle, big thanks to Alexander for this one! Pours a copper colour with a large white head. Quite a lot of lacing. Aroma is interesting but rather peculiar with strawberry jam(!), lots of caramel/toffee, citrusy hops, flowers, a bit nutty, and even alcohol (it feels this is a quite strong one...). There’s also some dried fruits. Flavour is sweet and malty with lots of caramel, but also flowers, fruit candy, citrus, really bitter grapefruit, strawberry jam, salt, liquorice, almost a bit of wood/oil in a weird way, and some warming alcohol. Finish is really bitter and it stays in the mouth for a long time. Fullbodied in the mouth, texture is somewhat sticky/slick, and the carbonation is soft. A very nice and complex beer. Some parts of the beer is slightly remiscent of Double Bastard, I think.

Biggish coarseish beige head. Opaque muddy reddish body with carbonation. Intense resiny citric eucalyptus aroma. Sweet-bitter citric eucalyptus and resin taste with alcoholic notes. Rounded, smooth, and sharpish. Fullish body. Bitter intense sandalwood, eucalyptus, and citrus aftertaste. Not entirely unlike Fisherman’s Friend. Lovely! (1.5l bottle shared by KnutAlbert.)
