Pours a clear orangey brown with a beige head leaving laces. Sweetish aroma of fruit and nutty malts. Strangely only appears medium-bodied, roasted malts and vitamin accents. A light alcohol burn in the finish. Not really convincing. 231109 Theis (3756), Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 23, 2009 A Mes rate. Draught at 1st Borefts Beer Festival. Excellent mahogany colour with a thin beige head. Fruity malt a plenty with some really good resinous hoppage sticking out the top. Actually it’s amazingly fruity, packed full of berry notes all round. Given that it is so young it’s struggling a little to hold the resonably high level of alcohol back and therefore is a little on the raw side but I’m sure that will pass. Nice toasty sugary notes in the finish. Yet another great beer from Mikkeller.
