On tap @ 1st BBF, de Molen. Aroma has fruity hops, caramel malts. Clear, dark amber coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is sweet, caramel malty with a strong hopbitter finish. Lots of fruits there. Good beer!

Bottle. High fluffy and lasting light brown head leaving long lacings. Lovely clear ruby body. Malty caramel fruity cocoa aroma with a weak hint of alcohol. Relatively sweet and sour cocoa riasted malt flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear orangey brown with a beige head leaving laces. Sweetish aroma of fruit and nutty malts. Strangely only appears medium-bodied, roasted malts and vitamin accents. A light alcohol burn in the finish. Not really convincing. 231109

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has strong notes fruit, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, alcohol, and lots of fruit, leading to a dry malty finish.

A Mes rate. Draught at 1st Borefts Beer Festival.
Excellent mahogany colour with a thin beige head. Fruity malt a plenty with some really good resinous hoppage sticking out the top. Actually it’s amazingly fruity, packed full of berry notes all round. Given that it is so young it’s struggling a little to hold the resonably high level of alcohol back and therefore is a little on the raw side but I’m sure that will pass. Nice toasty sugary notes in the finish. Yet another great beer from Mikkeller.
