Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival 2009. Dark ruby red colour, tan head. Aroma is sour fruity, hoppy, malty. Flavour is of caramel malts and some spices.

Dec 22, 2009 Updated: Dec 25, 2009Bottle, 11.0%. Mild grassy aroma, seems to be quite malty as well. Clear dark red brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour is quite sweet, nicely spicy. There is a distinct alcohol note, a roasted touch. Quite bitter finish. Well-balanced.

Dec 22, 2009 75 cL bottle. Pours dark deep amber with a huge off-white head. Aroma is dry yeasty and fruity. Sweet malty and yeasty flavoured. Smooth and mellow. Lingering fruity and light spiced. Mild bitter and light spiced into a mellow yeasty finish. Ends dry and slight phenolic. Nice one.

Dec 9, 2009 Draught at Plan B. Unclear brownish colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of caramel and fruits with malt. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with caramel, toasty malt, some fruity hops, alcohol and a soft bitterness.

Dec 8, 2009 Tasted at the first, great, Borefts Beer Festival 2009 @ De Molen. Ruby red colored brew. Roasted malts, raisins in the aroma. Flavor is malty, caramel, fruits. Nice.

Dec 1, 2009 Bottle. High fluffy and lasting light brown head leaving long lacings. Lovely clear ruby body. Malty caramel fruity cocoa aroma with a weak hint of alcohol. Relatively sweet and sour cocoa riasted malt flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste.

Nov 27, 2009 Bottle. Dark brown with a dense off white head. Brown sugar, loads of malt, hops and dark fruit in aroma. The flavour is dark malty, light alcohol, hops, brown sugar and fruity. Nice creamy texture.

Nov 26, 2009 Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear orangey brown with a beige head leaving laces. Sweetish aroma of fruit and nutty malts. Strangely only appears medium-bodied, roasted malts and vitamin accents. A light alcohol burn in the finish. Not really convincing. 231109
