| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours cloudy amber coloured with a big off white head. Aromas of orange fruit, mild anise, yeast and apricots. Flavour is dry with notes of yeast, fruit and mild brett. I guess this beer would gain something if stored for some years.. Blom (395), Odense, Denmark
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Amber with an enormous head. Potent aroma of orange and peach, really promosing! ... But the flavour just doesn’t make it. First of all the palate is strangely dry and woody and secondly it is simply too alcohol driven to make the stated "fresh and funky" impression. It probably needs a year or two in the cellar. Marsiblursi (1648), Göteborg, Sweden
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2009 (Bottle) Pours light hazy amber with a creamy off-white head. The aroma holds notes of doughy yeast with pineapple and strawberry-like esters. Hoppy tones of orange, tart apricot, grass, mild pine, and wet roses. The malt brings hints of caramel, cookies and light almond paste. I like the blend of esters and hops. Almost no brett on the nose. A light wet dog oxidation is notable. Bit spicy. The flavour is light sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of spices, tropical fruits, juicy oranges, esters, strawberries, flowers, pine, grass, light caramel and alcohol. The mouthfeel is creamy yet sharp. The aftertaste is spicy, doughy, woody and dry. Medium bodied. gam (1103), brisbane, Australia
