Clear deep amber color, small off-white. Sweet beery-like aroma (strawberry, panna cotta, wild berry). Crisp carbonation, foamy mouthfeel. Spicey, lemon fruity ... kind of basic Belgian ale, hoppy/alcoholic aftertaste ... I expected this beer to be funky! petermadsen (390), Vesterbronxxx, Denmark
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 15, 2009 A fantastic dirty ale with loads of must, hay, oranges and a nice punch of herbal and flowery hops. The flavour is rather complex with layers of funk, hops, dry malt and fruit mixing. The best easter beer this year! thewolf (5838), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a bit hazy orange with an impressive, creamy, white head. Super lacings in largeblotches. Long duration as well. Aroma has yeast (and I could detect some brett), oranges, light toasted caramel, biscuits and a light flowery hops note. Highish carbonation, light and dry mouthfeel, very fitting to the beer. Flavour is quite dry, good use of brett, ginger, light bready malts and lots of fine, dry hops. Long, lightly spiced hoppy aftertaste. Good, but yeah... it will probably be better next year.
