Commercial Description:
Mikkeller’s tribute to the green gold.

66 cl bottle. Clearish honey orange retains a light tan head. Sweat socks, orange and lemon-lime malts. Smooth lemon candies with green apple tartness. Pine needle drying. Mild carb with residual resin. A solid, well crafted IPA.

[Bottle from Tom] Orange/caramel colour with a moderate head. Big hop aroma, resinous, pine needles, grapefruit, balanced with caramel notes. Full, sweet upfront, long dry finish. This IPA is most delicious, you should try some.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a big beige head. Great hoppy aroma; sweetish and candy-like with citrus and pine. Flavour is sweetish and hoppy. The sweetness is slightly cloying. Notes of alcohol. Grainy notes. Bitter finish with notes of apple. 26-06-07.

22oz bottle, thanks to fonefan for this. bottled 4 months ago. pours a beautiful gold with fluffy white head. nose is very hoppy with citrus and grapefruit notes. flavor is sorta flat like it’s lost it’s luster and hop bite. perhaps the carbonation is too low. there’s still some nice fruity hop flavor and good malt backbone. pretty hoppy and an almost creamy mouthfeel. tasty stuff.

This IPA pours a orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is hoppy and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Has some nice hop bitterness without being harsh. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Draught at KØ07. Hazy dark copper colour. Very good hop aroma. The flavour is also quite hoppy, and nicely so. A good, solid IPA which is also well-balanced.

Pours a light copper color with a white head. Aroma is caramel, and grapefruit. Flavor is caramel, slightly fruity, with a grassy, grapefruit hop finish.

Bottle - Hazy orange body with a slight red shine, creamy yellowish head; Quite small nose, it is actually very small, what there is is pleasant fresh with lemon, soft peach and sharp pine; Soft textured body with very soft full carbonation, very little feel and character, balanced to the bitter side; The beer grows in the finish which is quite bitter dry, actually to bitter dry compared to the rest of the beers elements, lots of simple hop aromas with a little grapefruit peel and peach shining trough. For sure not my favorite Mikkeller, maybe actually my least favorite.
