Flavour is flowery hops along with big sweetness and some nutty hints. A very pleasant mix indeed, but not exactly what I waited from it. yousee (48), Belgium
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2007 On draught at Copenhague beer festival 2007. Pours a golden coloured beer with a golden, creamy head. Very aromatic in the nose with tons of hops, pine and caramel. The taste is at first very sweet with caramel, followed by quite some bitterness from the hops but amazingly good in balance. Nice hoppy finish. Amazing. Draught @ Københavnske Øldage. Pale amber colour with a lovely white head and lace. Glorious sweet and hoppy nose with candy sugar & delicate alcohol. Flavour runs along in the same superb vein. Excellent tangy hop finish that is almost biting but stops just in time. Superbly balanced IPA. Yet another Mikkeller stunner. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2007 (Bottle, thanks rickgordon and BillieMaria) Pours a bit hazy orange red. Hoppy, grapefruity and light spicy aroma with smaller notes of eucalyptus and some fruits, mostly apricot, lychee and tangerine. Also some tiny hints of grass, pine and a subtle maltiness with notes of caramel. Grapefruity flavour with some undertones of other citrus fruits and a floral soppy touch. The malty backbone is a tiny bit to thin. The finish leaves you with a spicy touch on the palate. Medium bitter and very clean. Rather dry. Light to medium body. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2007 (On tap) Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Fat aroma with strong citric notes. Quite full-bodied with lots of malt and citrus and a distinct bitterness. I’m afraid there’s a vague fustyness buried underneath - probably from the tap. 120507 skortila (2913), Bunnik, Netherlands
